Welcome to the Department of Music at Elon University. Here you’ll find an array of detailed material about the department and our degree programs. We balance a strong liberal arts core with high standards for musicality and professional skills. A nurturing, student-focused approach permeates every aspect of our teaching, while challenging each student to reach her or his highest potential. Our 6:1 music major to full-time faculty ratio ensures students receive unparalleled individual instruction throughout their academic program.
Acceptance to any of our programs also requires acceptance to Elon University—a separate process. Please start the application process here for both the university and the Music Department.
