Apple shares new TikTok filter to recreate recent Harry Styles AirPods ad silhouettes

Have you ever dreamed about featuring in an Apple ad? After airing a colorful AirPods ad featuring Harry Styles earlier this month, Apple has released a new “effect” on TikTok called “AirPods Silhouette” which allows users of the video-sharing platform to create videos featuring the silhouettes shown in the ad.
The new TikTok filter plays to music from Harry Styles’ new album “Harry’s House,” with users able to apply the filter to recreate the ad by putting themself in Harry’s place, with their faces featuring on the ad’s colorful silhouettes, which viewers have been quick to point out is reminiscent of Apple’s iPod ads from the mid-2000s.
The filter applies a pair of AirPods in the user’s ears, with the silhouettes moving to match the official Apple ad released at the beginning of the month, which showed Harry Styles dancing to promote Spatial Audio on AirPods.
