Ball Game Heroes Announce Tarp Skunks’ Buyout July 3

The Jamestown Tarp Skunks have announced that their home game on Sunday, July 3 at 7 p.m. will be a Community Buyout Night presented by Ball Game Heroes. All tickets for that night’s game will be free to the public courtesy of Ballgame Heroes.

“Since their opening last year, Ballgame Heroes has been a great partner of ours in helping promote sports in the local community” said Jackson Fowler, Tarp Skunks operations manager. “Ballgame Heroes wanted their one-year anniversary to be something that the entire community would remember, and opening up the gates of Diethrick Park for all is a great way to do that. By making tickets free to everyone for this game, Ballgame Heroes is continuing to showcase their investment in this community.”

The festivities surrounding Ballgame Heroes’ one-year celebration will begin on Saturday, July 2 at 10 a.m.

“We will have lots of special in-store promotions on our sports cards, autographed memorabilia, and Pokemon,” said Star Ryder of Ballgame Heroes.

The community is encouraged to bring the whole family to come to meet Pikachu and enjoy a sweet treat from Off The Stick Ice Cream.

Ballgame Heroes has partnered with the Jamestown Tarp Skunks this year providing an array of sports cards, Pokemon cards and other items for sale in their gift shop during several home games this season. Ballgame Heroes has been focused on providing a place for the community to gather, and talk about everything sports.

“We love what we do and want to share our passion for sports cards and baseball with the Jamestown community” Ryder said.

Ballgame Heroes provides fun activities for the community with events like sports card trade nights, kids Pokemon trading (every Saturday noon-2 p.m.) and hosting team gatherings.

Visit Ballgame Heroes at 501 W. Third St. in Jamestown to get free tickets. Community members may also get their tickets the night of the game outside the stadium prior to the first pitch.

The Tarp Skunks play 24 home games in June and July, followed by playoffs beginning in August. Additional ticket information and a printable schedule can be found at
