The Mon Hills Music Group is proud to announce a diverse lineup of live music performances at the 2022 Pawpaw Festival from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 24) at the WVU Core Arboretum.

Featured performers include the WVU Bluegrass & Old-Time Bands, student members of the Mon Hills Music Group and the Halftime String Band. 

The festival will also feature select varieties of fruit from Peterson Pawpaws, samples of chef-prepared pawpaw, food trucks, a talk by a Native American scholar, a North American Pawpaw Growers Association booth, lawn games and other fun activities. 

This event is free and open to the public and parking is available at the WVU Coliseum.

The festival is supported and made possible by the WVU Department of Biology, WVU Core Arboretum Endowment, WVU Native American Studies Program, WVU Center for Community Engagement, donations to the Arboretum and Mon Hills Music Group.

Mon Hills Music Group serves as a collection of independent record labels and acts as the professional component of the WVU Music Industry Program, directed by Darko Velichkovski, at the College of Creative Arts.
