Renowned Greek Artists, Jewelers and More Donate Items for THI’s Online Auction

NEW YORK – Internationally known Greek artists, jewelers and more have once again come together to donate items for The Hellenic Initiative’s online auction to support humanitarian programs and economic development in Greece. The auction is now open at the following link:

The Hellenic Initiative is the largest global non-profit uniting the Greek diaspora — with supporters in 45 countries. The auction kicks off the organization’s 10th Anniversary Gala to be held Saturday, December 3 at Cipriani Wall Street.

Among the items up for bid are the Lalaounis 18KT gold Amphora necklace with diamond and green cabochon tourmaline, value $935, minimum bid $475; Katerina Marmagioli Pendant Necklace in 14KT white gold with diamonds and navy enamel with a 40cm 14KT white gold chain value $2,560, minimum bid $1,300; Zolotas celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Greek War of Independence with the highly collectible ‘Seals of Liberty’ ring collection — a reference to 1821, the milestone year of the Greek Revolution. 18KT yellow gold, value $2,865, minimum bid $1,000; and Stephan Vlachos ‘Love Rocks’ Framed Photograph, value $200, minimum bid $100.
