When will The Equalizer Season 3 return in 2023?

The Equalizer Season 3 will head off on its winter break soon. CBS has brought us the midseason premiere dates, but where is the Queen Latifah series? When will The Equalizer return in 2023?

We know fall finales are almost here. The networks are bringing out their return dates, and CBS was the latest one to announce its schedule. All eyes are on when Queen Latifah will be back on our screens in 2023.

We didn’t expect the show to return in January. This is a busy time of the year for big football games. FOX and CBS tend to have to compete with NBC and they don’t want to. It’s easier putting on specials or reruns.

However, on Sunday, Jan. 8, we’ll see new episodes of East New York and NCIS: Los Angeles. What about The Equalizer?

When is The Equalizer Season 3 back in 2023?

We won’t get the Queen Latifah series on that night. Instead, there’s a 60 Minutes episode that starts after the football game, and that will run into the two scripted shows.

Is the crime drama being held until after the Super Bowl? That is common, and it could be the case here. TVLine shares that the confirmed return date for the show is coming at a later date. Looking at the schedule, there would be a spot for the show’s return on Sunday, Feb. 19.

The only confirmed plan after the Super Bowl is the return of Survivor in March. CBS could still be finalizing a few plans, especially since The Equalizer has already had a few extra Sundays off compared to the other two scripted dramas on the night.

There isn’t anything to worry about when it comes to the future of the series, though. This remains the most popular drama on the network, and it has already been renewed for Season 4.

The Equalizer is available to stream on Paramount+.
