Honor 90 series of Android smartphones will launch in mid
Honor is now tipped to unveil successors to its current 80 series of premium mid-range Android smartphones later in 2023. These devices are thought to improve on their photography and videography compared to their forebears. Meanwhile, a new image alleged linked to the 90 series may hint at a long-awaited design upgrade.
Honor may follow its Magic5 series of flagship smartphones with devices for the next tier down, as with their 80 series of 2022.
These devices pioneered a high-res 160MP sensor for their form-factor; however, their photos and videos proved disappointing for many Honor fans, according to the knowledgeable tipster The Factory Manager’s Classmate, at least.
However, the same leaker asserts that the next-gen “90” line-up will learn from the mistakes of their predecessors with improvements in the camera department. To this end, one or more of them may upgrade to OIS for reduced shake in videos.
The 90 series is also thought to launch with dual speakers at the end of May 2023.
Meanwhile, an artful new image showing differently-sized concentric circles made of what appears to be red dishware with the legend “Honor 90” might hint at a design refresh, possibly welcome in a series that has stubbornly stuck with a very similar look over several generations.
I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
